Each year I donate a session to be auctioned off for missionary work in the Dominican Republic.
I know it's not much, but it brings me great joy to know that I'm helping in some small way.
It also brings me joy to meet the recipients of that session, the ones who showed up at the auction to support the same cause. Before I even meet them I know we have one thing in common:
We love the Lord.
Sessions like these remind me to "count my many blessings" and be grateful for what the Lord has provided.
For one, he has placed his hand on my photography business and allowed it to grow beyond what I ever imagined...also enabling me to spend a year at home with our sweet Asher.
By growing my business, he has also allowed me to meet families such as this. The Thorntons. Their hands and hearts are full with two littles! They were so sweet and full of energy...but I've yet to meet a one year old or three year old who isn't. ;) The best part of this session was how easily amused these two babies were by a fake sneeze!
Here are a few of my favorites:
I love these so much!! Thank you for capturing the joy of our sweet kids! It was so great to meet you!
