Burgess + Adkinson = LOVE
So I'll start by saying that I'm a little [haha- a lot] behind on my blog updates! Over the past few months I have been greatly blessed. This time last year I was doing maybe 2-3 sessions a month, and now my calendar is full... all.the.time.
This has been such an exciting time for my family, with the building of our forever home and a growing business. I can't think you all enough for the amazing support over the past two years, since I launched NGP.
I've always loved taking pictures and those who know me can attest to the fact that I love to talk and consider myself a people-person. This photography adventure started out as a way to make a little extra cash doing something I love, but it has turned into so much more. I get very attached to you [my clients] and your stories are important to me. That's why I decided to start blogging and it has brought me so much joy!
Having said all that... this little photog is falling behind on the job. So you'll have to excuse my next few posts if they aren't as elaborate as usual, but I really want to share some extra images with you that didn't necessarily make it to Facebook.
Taylor + Shelton [not Sheldon like on Big Bang... just saying] ;)
I've known Taylor for most of my life ((Jay girls)) and have a connection to Shelton through his mom, who I had the pleasure of working with for three years at Chumuckla Elementary School. Yet, I didn't have a clue that these two were even dating... let alone getting married!! What?!?!
Imagine my surprise when Taylor contacted me for engagement pictures. :) I love working with couples and these two were no different! Their chemistry and love for one another was epic, I could feel it radiating from them throughout the whole shoot [even when Taylor was getting on to Shelton for his shirt being untucked...which he happily fixed for his woman].
These two were super laid back and happy to pose any way I asked, stare at one another lovingly, and of course... kiss on command. I think you can tell a lot about a couple from a photoshoot... that's just my opinion as a photographer, but I bet a lot of other photographers would agree with me.
Couples either "work" or they don't.
It's forced or it's real.
Love is epic or ordinary.
I'm sure of two things for Taylor + Shelton. First, their love is REAL. Second, their married life will be extraordinary! In true Taylor fashion... I know this pair will live #happilyeveradkinson [gotta love their hashtag].
